It was really hard to say goodbye tonight. I hung out with Rachel and Sean for most of the night, and we ran around trying to find food and ice cream, and cursing all the restaurants that were closed. I felt so great to be out with them. And it really clicked right when Sean pulled up to my house. They're leaving tomorrow. The last of the people that befriended little freshman me when I had no idea what I was doing. My big sister.... Sean, Rachel, Camila, Alex, William, Patrick, Annie, Beth, Isa. Yeah, some of them are still in the area, but they feel gone. Just...these people....they're my best friends, and now they're all going away. I can't even put this into words, I'm stammering to find the words. It's just that warm....but cold feeling. But definitely very warm. I have all those memories now. Especially tonight. Tonight was great guys, thank you.
I feel like when you look out at night, and it's snowing, all sideways. And there's a quickly disapearing path of foot prints in the snow, and the sky is that glorious purple grey black color. And you're sitting there...drinking your hot drink -cider for me, nice hot spiced cider-curled up in a warm blanket. And if you're me, you probably just finished talking to Alex, because she makes you feel like this. It's really cold...but you have every reason to feel warm.
